Why do people in church commit suicide? It’s been four years since I tried to commit suicide. Through the grace and mercy of GOD, I woke up in the hospital prophesying to the young black doctor from Morehouse. The doctor said, “How do you know that about me?” I said, “Man, do I have a story to tell.” A year later, I was interviewed on CBS 46 Atlanta addressing depression, suicide, worship and serving the community. Why do people in church commit suicide? (1) The lack of true fellowship [feeling alone]; (2) The lack of real ministering; (3)Lip service [lies]; (4) Favoritism; (5) Discrimination; (6)The shame of asking for help for fear of rejection; (7) Being different (8) Verbal, physical and sexual abuse in the church by leaders (9) The lack of real unconditional love (10) Excuses (11)Too busy doing religious service, but not being a service to anyone in need (12) Putting all of their time, talent and money into taking care of the pastor of the church and the operations of the churc
